Different types of boilers are: fire tube boiler, water tube boiler, packaged boiler, fluidized bed combustion boiler, atmospheric fluidized bed combustion boiler, pressurized fluidized bed combustion boiler, atmospheric circulating fluidized bed combustion boiler, stoker fire boiler, pulverized fuel boiler, waste heat boiler, electric boiler, and thermic fluid heater. Water heating and cooling units, also known as temperature control units (TCU), heat the water or oil to a desired temperature by adding heat and control this temperature by recirculating a small amount of cooling water from an external source.
