Hot melt glue case sealers use heat sensitive adhesive to seal boxes. Tape case sealers, also known as case tapers, use pressure sensitive tape to seal boxes. Carton staplers use staples. Case sealers can be top, bottom, top and bottom, or side sealers and can accept either uniform or random boxes. Most case sealers are uniform sealers because the size of the box does not change through production, but when multiple size boxes are needed, manufacturers use random case sealers which automatically adjust to random case sizes.
